Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating all aspects of Rotating Equipment design, specifically compressor internals selection of EPCs, technical and execution definition, including planning for future EPC execution.
  • Ensures technical requirements for all rotating equipment related deliverables (e.g., project specifications, data sheets, etc.) developed during detailed design fully comply with project deliverables through effective collaborations and interfaces with contractors, COMPANY, and Shareholders to ensure the rotating equipment and equipment scope of supply is fully integrated and optimized.
  • Responsible for the technical engagement with Vendors during the pre-EPC phase and procurement of LLI activities. In the EPC phase, support EPC PMT to ensure EPC contractor timely delivers placement of all the equipment packages.
  • Implements the delivery of Rotating Equipment design by completing risk-based evaluations of complex technical issues, ensuring Compression EPC deliverables are compliant with project requirements while meeting COMPANY quality expectations. Coordinates the bundle selection, delivery (content and timing) of Rotating Equipment systems in accordance with project requirements from LLI Vendor and future Compression EPC Contractor.
Your Tasks:
  • Provides Centrifugal Compressor knowledge, design, quality assurance, and expertise while overseeing the Rotating aspects of the LLI contract ensuring project deliverables and schedule are met.
  • Directs the preparation and stewardship of Rotating scope of work in LLI Vendor and EPC contract, advises and recommends design procedures, processes, deliverables, and alternative studies, as required, to optimize project cost and schedule.
  • Responsible for ensuring execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with COMPANY Operations, Policies, Standards of Business Conduct, and COMPANY Project Management System (CPMS).
  • Supports EPC Teams in managing the EPC Contractor's Rotating and Packaged Equipment activities including validation of personnel numbers, qualifications, and experience; usage of appropriate design tools, including computer hardware and software; adherence with all project objectives, requirements, specifications, standards, procedures, execution plans, and design verification processes.
  • Assesses and validates contractor capability in providing all contract documents, progress measurement and reporting, and recommends additional technical support to address gaps.
  • Manages the technical attachments and scope descriptions to all Rotating and Packaged Equipment engineering contracts and the timely delivery to all purchase orders for all the Long Lead Equipment identified by Contractor.
  • Accountable for knowledge of and sharing previous lessons learned, capturing, and communicating current lessons learned to support review teams and future projects.
  • Develops, reviews, and amends various policies and procedures to ensure that all mechanical engineering references are up to date and relevant.
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ Engineering experience with detailed knowledge of Gas Turbines and Centrifugal Compressors including design standards, specifications, operations, maintenance, and interaction with OEMs.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Offshore oil and gas Machinery.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory experience leading engineers.
  • Major Project (>$100M) experience.
  • Prior secondment to another Operating Company preferable.
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Excellent written and oral English skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
  • Strong technical, prioritization, and management skills.
  • Good communication, influencing, and interface skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, Lotus Notes, etc.

  • Salary: Day Rate in USD Plus Allowance
  • Work Schedule: 10 Hours/ 6 Days
  • Duration: 31 May 2027 with possible extension
