We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Associate Vice President (AVP) - Content to join our Marketing team. This leadership role is pivotal in creating, managing, and delivering high-quality content that reinforces our brand, drives engagement, and supports our business objectives in the B2B technology sector. Role Overview: The AVP - Content will lead a team of content specialists and work closely with marketing, sales, and technology teams to strategize, develop, and execute content initiatives. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including developing capability briefs, corporate collaterals, case studies, thought leadership materials including research reports, technical studies, whitepapers, viewpoint blogs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B content strategy and creation, with a focus on technology services and digital transformation. Key Responsibilities: Content Strategy: Develop and oversee the execution of a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals and audience needs. Identify content gaps and propose innovative ideas to enhance audience engagement and lead generation. Establish content standards and ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and quality. Corporate Collaterals and Capability Briefs: Create and refine high-impact content such as capability briefs, decks, brochures, and corporate presentations. Highlight the value and differentiation of Damco’ s offerings to resonate with target audiences. Thought Leadership: Develop thought leadership content, including research reports, technical studies, viewpoints, and blogs, to position Damco as a market leader. Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce insightful and authoritative content. Create engaging webinar decks to support marketing and sales initiatives. Case Studies and Success Stories: Develop compelling case studies showcasing client success and the impact of Damco’ s solutions. Work with account teams to identify opportunities for storytelling and customer advocacy. Research and Insights: Conduct market and competitor research to inform content development and maintain relevance. Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into content strategies. Collaboration: Lead cross-functional collaboration with product management, sales, and customer success teams to gather insights and align content efforts. Mentor and guide a team of content creators to achieve excellence in execution. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in B2B content strategy and creation, with a focus on technology services. Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing high-performing teams. Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Strong understanding of B2B marketing, audience segmentation, and buyer journeys. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling content. Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Quality and quantity of content delivered across categories. Engagement metrics, such as time on page and social shares. SEO performance, including organic traffic growth and keyword rankings. Content Contribution to lead generation and conversion rates. Stakeholder feedback and alignment with marketing objectives.
