Job details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant/Specialist in Pain Medicine to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing and treating patients with acute and chronic pain. You will work closely with our clients to develop tailored pain management plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments to determine the cause and severity of pain
- Developing and implementing patient-centered pain management plans
- Prescribing appropriate medication and monitoring their effectiveness
- Administering pain management procedures such as nerve blocks and injections
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for patients
- Educating patients and their families about pain management techniques
- Conducting research and staying updated on advancements in pain management treatments
- Actively participating in continuous professional development activities to maintain and enhance your knowledge and skills
Requirements
- Medical degree and valid medical license
- Specialty in Pain Medicine or relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
- Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for providing high-quality patient care
- Continuous commitment to professional development and up-to-date knowledge in the field of Pain Medicine
