Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and creative Freelance Copywriter to join our brand marketing team and support OSNtv-specific tasks. The ideal candidate will craft engaging, persuasive, and culturally relevant copy for various platforms, including social media, email newsletters, website landing pages, and campaign assets. You will work closely with the brand manager and creative team to ensure all communication aligns with OSNtv's brand tone and voice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling and concise copy for OSNtv campaigns, including digital ads, social media posts, email newsletters, and push notifications.
  • Write clear, persuasive, and grammatically accurate messaging that resonates with MENA audiences and reflects the OSNtv brand.
  • Localize and adapt English copy for Arabic-speaking audiences, ensuring cultural nuances are appropriately addressed.
  • Collaborate with the design and creative teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all materials.
  • Assist with on-demand promotional materials, including movie and series synopses, in both English and Arabic.
  • Create engaging headlines, taglines, and CTAs for digital and print marketing assets.
  • Review and edit existing copy to enhance clarity, impact, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated on trends in digital marketing and MENA consumer preferences to craft relevant, audience-driven content.

Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies

  • Experience working on entertainment platforms or content-driven brands.
  • Background in advertising or brand communication.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably within the entertainment or media industry.
  • Exceptional writing skills in English and Arabic, with attention to tone, style, and grammar.
  • Strong understanding of MENA region cultural nuances and consumer behavior.
  • Ability to adapt writing style based on target platforms (e.g., social media, email, print).
  • Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing trends is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace).

Commitment:

  • Flexible schedule with deliverables on a project basis.
  • Must be available to deliver high-priority tasks on timelines.
