Job details
As a Healthcare Assistant at Aster Hospital your primary goal is to provide patients with the best possible care. You will be responsible for monitoring patient progress, reporting updates to healthcare professionals, and performing various general care duties. Working closely with Nurses, Doctors, Midwives, and Surgeons, your daily responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with patient mobility, such as helping them move from bed to toilet
- Recording and reporting patient updates to healthcare professionals
- Measuring and monitoring vital signs
- Sterilizing medical equipment
- Maintaining a clean and comfortable environment by changing bedding and cleaning patients
- Processing lab work
- Responding to medical emergencies and alerting healthcare professionals as necessary.
