Job details
The role of the Distribution Assistant/Coordinator is to coordinate operation activities and supply chain support across the organization, including distributing correspondence and redirecting queries.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the entire supply chain process for gas cylinders, including warehousing and distribution.
- Manage and track shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of gas cylinders to customers.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve any issues related to inventory and logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and related documentation using inventory management systems.
- Manage the distribution of goods and products.
- Organize shipment and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and monitor distribution operational plans.
- Ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
- Track and analyze distribution performance.
- Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Monitor and track the flow of materials and products.
- Develop and implement an efficient distribution system.
- Organize and prioritize orders.
- Maintain records of distribution activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Fresh graduate or any degree.
- Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Previous 2 years of experience as a Distribution Assistant or in a similar role within the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex logistics challenges.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with suppliers, customers, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.
