Assist the Workshops Supervisor to accomplish maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all assigned aircraft support equipment. Will also be responsible for:- Disassembling, repairing, reassembling, adjusting, removing, replacing, servicing, preparing, preserving, welding, painting, cleaning, and troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, gasoline/diesel engine systems, subsystems, and components according to applicable manuals and safety directives.
- Using and performing user maintenance with common and special tools.
- Requisitioning AGSE parts, and maintaining shop and bench stock for repair of ground support equipment.
- Inspecting and preparing forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751.
- Training host national personnel on the proper maintenance of the AGSE and related components.
- Being responsible for tools and equipment inventory assigned by the supervisor.
