We develop large scale analytical solutions powered by machine learning and AI to drive customer experience, enable product sales and engagement for the Private Banking and Treasure Private Client business. We want to push the boundary on data and AI and create meaningful solutions that can help and assist our customers and differentiate DBS from the competition. Responsibilities The successful candidate will • Define and articulate complex problem statements, identifying and recommending impactful data and analytics solutions to address core business challenges and strategic objectives. • Synthesize insights into compelling data stories that improve decision-making, uncover growth opportunities, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to business leaders and MtJ Squad members. • Lead exploratory data analysis to detect patterns, trends, and anomalies; perform rigorous statistical testing and hypothesis validation to ensure insights' reliability. • Design and implement dashboards for KPI tracking to provide continuous visibility into business and MtJ outcomes, enhancing value tracking and strategy alignment. • Interpret advanced machine learning model results and effectively communicate findings to diverse stakeholders, including those without technical backgrounds, ensuring alignment and shared understanding. • Apply data preprocessing techniques, such as feature engineering, scaling, and normalization, to improve machine learning efficacy together with Data Scientists; experience in this area is advantageous. • Independently manage end-to-end delivery of data and analytics solutions (i.e. Control Towers, Next Best Conversations etc.), ensuring they align with business goals and Data Chapter strategies to drive measurable impact. • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Business Management, MtJ Squad Leads, and decision-makers, to ensure a holistic understanding of business requirements and effective delivery of actionable insights. • Continuously stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in data analytics, visualization, and tools, identifying opportunities for optimizing processes and driving innovation. • Champion the creation of reusable analytical assets and facilitate knowledge sharing across the Data Chapter, Cognitive Banking, and MarTech teams to elevate capabilities organization-wide. Requirements : • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Masters or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics or equivalent quantitative fields is a plus. • Over 10 years of practical experience in analytics, spanning from descriptive to prescriptive methods, ideally within the financial and banking sectors. • Familiarity with DBS new way of Managing through Journeys by defining and measuring Levers, Drivers and Outcomes of MTJ Value Map is a plus. • Strong analytical skills, high attention to details and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful insights. • High proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation and programming languages such as Python, R for data analysis. • Experience with data visualization tools such as QlikSense or similar. • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders including Management.
