C&S Design Manager (Iconic Mixed Development) - YL Our client is a prominent A1 main contractor renowned for their notable record of mixed development, residential, commercial and MRT projects. They’re now looking for a C&S Design Manager to lead their team for an iconic mixed development project, supporting their ongoing contribution to several of Singapore’s major infrastructure developments. This role follows a 5-day work week schedule. Job Responsibilities Lead the C&S design process from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines Liaise closely with project stakeholders, including architects, consultants, contractors, and authorities Provide technical guidance and support for structural and civil engineering challenges and review site issues when needed Conduct site visits to monitor the implementation of design specifications. Validate design proposals, calculations, drawings, and specifications provided by consultants and contractors. Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, architectural, etc.) to resolve design clashes and ensure project integration Handle submission and approval processes with relevant authorities Conduct design risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies. Requirements Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field. Possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in civil and structural design management Possess strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building regulations.
