Overview of the role: This role focuses on the sales of Linde Material Handling Equipment’s product range. You will oversee relationships with existing clients and work to acquire new customers by building strong connections with both new and current clients. Your goal is to meet and exceed sales targets while contributing to the long-term growth and success of the Material Handling Equipment business. What you will do:
  1. Contribute to the achievement of revenue, unit sales, and customer engagement through effective management of the sales process, customer retention, and a well-organized distribution strategy. Support the Department Sales Manager in preparing the annual budget and business proposals, highlighting key activities planned to achieve and exceed set targets.
  2. Identify and target new customers and sales opportunities, developing action plans to approach and secure new business for the department.
  3. Proactively manage customer requirements, ensuring on-time delivery while considering lead times, specification changes, and demand fluctuations.
  4. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key contacts. Collect market information regarding competitors' activities to ensure the department maintains a competitive edge in terms of products, pricing, services, and systems.
  5. Manage all aspects of the sales process independently, from initial contact to closing the deal.
  6. Stay up to date with the latest regulations, standards, and best practices within the Material Handling Equipment industry.
Required Skills to be successful:
  1. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in selling reputable brands of Material Handling Equipment. Experience in the Gulf region is preferred.
  2. Proven experience in Material Handling Equipment or Industrial Equipment sales.
  3. Knowledge of the latest regulations, standards, and best practices within the Material Handling Equipment industry.
  4. A solid understanding of industrial trucks in general, with specific knowledge of the Material Handling Equipment market being an advantage.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
  6. A customer-centric attitude, with a focus on meeting client needs and providing exceptional service.
About the Team: You will report to the Sales Manager and operate as an individual contributor within the sales team, collaborating closely with other team members and departments to ensure the company’s goals are met. What equips you for the role:
  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  2. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  3. Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  4. A valid driving license.
  5. A passion for continuous learning and improvement to keep up with industry advancements.
