Overview: A Presales Consultant is a technical expert who supports the sales process by providing detailed product knowledge, demonstrations, and technical expertise to potential customers. They work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions that meet those needs. Presales Consultants also play a key role in building customer confidence and addressing technical concerns. Job Description:
- Provide technical expertise to the sales team and potential customers
- Develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations of products or services
- Work with sales to qualify leads and develop proposals
- Conduct technical assessments of customer needs and design solutions
- Address customer technical questions and concerns
- Stay up-to-date on the latest product developments and industry trends
- Work with the sales team to identify and qualify leads
- Develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations of products or services to potential customers
- Participate in Pre-Sales calls, developing and delivering value-based customer technical presentations, POC and demonstrations.
- Local & International travel will be required.
- Conduct technical assessments of customer needs and design solutions
- Address customer technical questions and concerns
- Work with the sales team to develop and negotiate proposals
- Stay up-to-date on the latest product developments and industry trends
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and marketing, to ensure that the sales team has the resources they need to be successful.
- Understand business and technical problems addressed by the products including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, etc.
- Develop a deep understanding of the customers, their problems, and the solutions with a clear path towards achieving their business and technical objectives.
- Work closely with vendors, partners, and customers as well as the professional services and sales teams to design and package security solutions.
- Deliver end-to-end POC independently.
- Proven track record of solving complex problems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a technical role
- Strong understanding of the products or services you will be selling
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
