Responsibilities:
- Manage financial records and ensure their accuracy and integrity.
- Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Review budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
- Maintain accurate financial statements and reconcile discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a petroleum trading company in a similar position would be considered a plus.
- Experience in a commodities trading company would be considered a plus.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices in the UAE.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
