Eden Scott are supporting an industry leader in the delivery of offshore wind projects to appoint a Tender Manager to join their Sales & Marketing department in Aberdeen. As Tender Manager you will oversee the entire tender process on major projects working to bring sustainable, renewable energy globally. Key Responsibilities include

  • Delivering large scale complex tenders in an exciting and innovative market
  • Act as single point of contact for clients to understand their key drivers and requirements which evolve over the tender lifecycle
  • Responsible for implementation of the tender strategy
  • Coordinate the activities of the team delivering the tender as well as ensuring functional input is delivered expediently.
  • Oversee the full tender process as the person accountable, ensuring all commercial, contractual and technical elements are in accordance with requirements
  • Coordinate meetings with clients during clarifications rounds, follow-up on actions and negotiations
  • Ensure final agreed positions are accurately reflected in final contract drafting
Applicants are required to have a BSc or MSc in a commercial or contractual field, a depth of experience managing large-scale tenders or projects in offshore renewables or a similar environment. Strong commercial and contractual orientation with a focus on risk management. Proven negotiation skills.
