Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment are looking for skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for one of our key clients in the Pontefract area, who are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their newest site with immediate effect. Salary: £43,043 Location: Pontefract Hours: 4 on 4 off days and nights Benefits:

Duties of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Being proactive within the job focussing on reactive and preventative maintenance on a daily basis
• Working within a manufacturing environment
• Working on machinery such as robots, bailers, shredders, conveyors
• Constantly working to improvement plans to make the business the best it can be
• Working within a recycling environment

Desired experience:

• You must have at least Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
• Must have manufacturing experience.
• Ideally have experience of working within a recycling environment previously but not essential
• Must have experience with reactive maintenance and PPM’s on a daily basis
• Ideally have experience with similar machinery mentioned above
• Must be happy working shifts
• Great communication skills (reading and spoken English is Essential)
