The Safety Business Partner (Gippsland) works closely with operational teams to ensure HVP safety systems and processes are implemented effectively. You will be a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support on various safety initiatives, including risk assessments, training delivery, and contractor safety management. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing our safety culture across regional operations. Key aspects of this role include: Leading regional safety initiatives and activities (80%) Contributing to corporate safety projects and documentation (20%) Designing and delivering safety training programs Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies To thrive in this role, you will ideally have: Certificate IV in Safety with more than 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Demonstrated experience in managing high-risk operations and contractor safety. Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement effective control strategies. Experience in designing and delivering training aligned with ISO certification standards. Strong track record in building safety systems, templates and fostering relationships. Demonstrated experience in embedding change within an organisation to ensure lasting improvements. Leadership skills with the ability to engage and influence others.
