Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated BI Developer with hands-on experience in MicroStrategy to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions that drive informed decision-making. This role demands strong technical expertise, analytical abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of data management and reporting systems. Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
2. Create schema objects including attributes, facts, hierarchies, and transformations in MicroStrategy.
3. Optimize MicroStrategy projects for performance and scalability.
4. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
5. Design and implement reporting solutions that provide actionable insights.
6. Develop and maintain ad hoc and scheduled reports.
7. Collaborate with data engineers to integrate and prepare data sources for BI tools.
8. Ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to support reporting needs.
9. Work with SQL to create, optimize, and maintain queries for data analysis.
10. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide tailored BI solutions.
11. Conduct training sessions for business users on MicroStrategy functionality and best practices.
12. Support troubleshooting and resolve issues related to BI tools and data.
13. Conduct unit testing and validate results to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
14. Monitor BI system performance and ensure data integrity.
15. Stay updated on the latest MicroStrategy features and BI trends.
16. Propose enhancements to improve reporting processes and user experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience as a BI Developer with expertise in MicroStrategy.
• Proficiency in designing MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and schema objects.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Big Query).
• Certification in MicroStrategy or related BI technologies.
