Laboratory Process Lead

Excellent opportunity for an Operations Process Lead to join a Medical Devices Leader in the northwest of Ireland . The Laboratory Process Leader manages a team of Operators to ensure safe, compliant production of products meeting customer needs. Reporting to the Manufacturing Shift Lead, they oversee daily lab operations for diagnostics and medical device production , emphasizing team guidance, continuous improvement, and efficiency.

Overview of your responsibilities

• Ensure Laboratory schedule adherence.
• Manage daily tasks of Laboratory operators.
• Maintain compliance with Policies, Procedures, and contribute to Work Instructions.
• Resolve test equipment issues for quality and production goals.
• Coordinate Planned and Unplanned Maintenance for lab equipment.
• Address Planned and Unplanned Excursions in the laboratory.
• Contribute to Quality Reports.
• Conduct Performance Excellence Assessments and Development Plans for Continuous Improvement.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:

• 3rd level qualification in Science and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in people leading.
