Job Description:

1. A minimum of 5 years post registration experience in an acute general.
2. A minimum of 2 years' experience in Cardiothoracic experience is essential.
3. Proven ability to provide skilled clinical and technical expertise as a member of the Theatre nursing team.
4. Relevant course essential in Peri Anaesthesia and/or Peri Operative nursing or equivalent.
5. A management qualification is essential.
6. Preceptorship/teaching and assessing of students is also desirable.
7. Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI.
