About the role An opportunity has arisen within our Marketing Team for an Internal Communications Specialist on a fixed term contract. In the role, the successful candidate will: Key responsibilities- Plan, launch and evolve a strong internal communications strategy that aligns with the overall Davy Strategy, our brand and cultural framework and the day-to-day organisational needs of the business.
- Ensure there is a coordinated approach to internal communications across the Group, including alignment of messaging from CEO office through to appropriate cascade of messaging across the organisation.
- Develop, support and improve internal communications tools, channels and processes throughout the business, including the Life@Davy Intranet, email, video and all-people events.
- Work with the internal events manager on flagship internal events and ExCo led internal events/townhalls.
- Create and circulate weekly people newsletter and work with Intranet Champions to maintain Intranet content.
- Work with CSR group to communicate activities throughout the year and support campaigns in the areas of CSR including Diversity and Inclusion, Wellness and Sports & Social and other relevant CSR actions.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of all communications activity, in order to maximise successful outcomes / identify areas for improvement.
- Degree or Masters in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an internal communications role.
- Strong capability to develop and execute an internal communications strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - with a particular strength in written communications and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work on one's own initiative.
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders across the business.
- Experience working with various IT platforms and Poppulo will be an advantage.
