Roles and Responsibilities
Location: Fujairah Experience: 3 to 5 Years Job Responsibilities- Knowledge of field include (Stacker/Reclaimer, RP, Ball Mills, Coal Mill Kiln, Decolorizer etc.)
- Sound in troubleshooting and failure analysis.
- Basic knowledge of equipment interlocks.
- Basic knowledge of operation of local panels.
- Must be aware of safety work permits and onsite job hazards.
- Good communication skills with all stakeholders including Shift manager, CCR & Services department.
- Responsible for plant/equipment housekeeping and arresting material & air leakages.
- Ability to supervise/work in kiln & mills shutdown activities. Ability to fill plant checklist.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Process Knowledge- Understanding of Manufacturing Processes : In-depth knowledge of the processes used in the specific industry, such as chemical, food, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or semiconductor manufacturing.
- Process Optimization : Ability to identify areas for improvement in production processes and recommend or implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, or improve quality.
- Process Monitoring : Skill in continuously monitoring processes and production parameters, ensuring that they are running according to specifications and identifying deviations.
- Control Systems : Knowledge of control systems like SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), and DCS (Distributed Control Systems) to monitor and control production.
- Equipment Operation : Ability to operate and maintain complex machinery and equipment used in manufacturing, ensuring they function efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshooting : Skill in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving mechanical, electrical, or process-related issues that may arise during production.
- Preventive Maintenance : Experience with routine preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to reduce downtime and avoid costly repairs.
- Instrumentation : Knowledge of instrumentation systems, such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors, to measure and control process parameters.
- Calibration : Experience in calibrating instruments and ensuring that readings are accurate and within acceptable limits.
- Inspection and Testing : Ability to perform regular inspections and testing of materials, products, or processes to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) : Familiarity with writing, reviewing, and following SOPs to ensure that processes are conducted consistently and safely.
- Compliance : Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA, GMP, FDA) and ensuring that the process adheres to these guidelines.
- Troubleshooting Quality Issues : Ability to identify root causes of product defects or process issues and work with the team to resolve them quickly to maintain quality standards.
- Data Analysis : Ability to analyze process data (e.g., from sensors, control systems, production logs) to identify trends, diagnose issues, and improve processes.
- Root Cause Analysis : Proficiency in identifying the root cause of problems and developing solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Critical Thinking : Applying logical reasoning to solve complex process-related issues and optimize production.
- Statistical Process Control (SPC) : Knowledge of statistical methods used to monitor and control processes to ensure consistent product quality.
- Health and Safety Regulations : Strong understanding of workplace safety standards, including knowledge of OSHA regulations or industry-specific safety practices.
- Risk Assessment : Ability to assess potential risks in the process, including hazards from chemicals, machinery, and electrical systems, and implement appropriate control measures.
- Emergency Procedures : Knowledge of emergency procedures and the ability to respond appropriately in case of accidents, equipment failure, or environmental hazards.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) : Familiarity with the appropriate use of PPE to ensure worker safety in potentially hazardous environments.
- PLC Programming : Experience with programming and configuring PLC systems, including the ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled processes.
- SCADA Systems : Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting SCADA systems used for remote monitoring and control of industrial processes.
- Industrial Automation : Knowledge of automation technologies used in manufacturing and the ability to work with automated systems to optimize production.
- Sensors and Actuators : Understanding how sensors and actuators function within automated processes to control production and manage quality.
