Responsibilities
- Installs security systems components, units and printed circuit boards following instructions from Project Engineer e.g. cameras, motion detectors, electronic locks etc.
- Installs structured cabling for various systems i.e. CCTV, Access control, Intrusion detection etc.
- Install and service various Intrusion, CCTV, and Access Control Systems.
- Travel to various customer sites performing installation and service work.
- Be experienced and able to use hand tools and small power tools e.g. drilling machines, screwdrivers & cutters.
- Be able to read and understand technical drawings, data sheets, and written work instructions.
- Having prior education, training & knowledge of basic electronics, security systems e.g. IP Surveillance, Intrusion detection, Access control and/or electronic power supplies are all preferred.
- Should have initiative to fabricate parts, cables to ensure an installation will be successfully executed.
- Works closely with the Project Engineer.
- Should have knowledge of common safety practices.
Requirements
- High School/ITI/Diploma.
- At least 1-3 years’ experience in similar role handling ELV projects (Structured Cabling - CCTV - Fire alarm - Access Control).
