Job Description

Nair Systems is a DIFC based, boutique leading edge technology consulting and professional services firm focusing on Digital Banking, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data & Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency and Robotic Process Automation. Nair Systems is currently looking for a Business Analyst - Risk Management for our UAE operations with the following terms & conditions.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Dedicated Business analyst to work on risk management projects requirements assessment and analysis, facilitating requirement gathering and analysis.
  2. Liaise with customers to understand the business requirements, translating it to technical solutions recommendations.
  3. Conversant in understanding the Risk Management domain specifically in Credit Risk, Market Risk and Operational Risk.
  4. Leads the planning, solution design & analysis, data transformational logic from source to destination, and business logic understanding of risk management projects for systems.
  5. Gather detailed requirements from Risk Management team for large scale projects and/or enhancements to existing products.
  6. Work directly with Business units to develop user requirements and report specifications.
  7. Interface with IT infrastructure teams, departmental SMEs, and Project teams to ensure that business requirements are met within a software package.
  8. Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
  9. Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete assignments.
  10. Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress.
  11. Execute the adhoc instructions or provide flexibility within ethical and professional standards from line manager to achieve any exceptional business objectives and Internal IT Objectives related to Bank including international expansion.
  12. Involve in multiple assignments encompassing new product introductions, vendor selection and contract preparation.
  13. Able to work closely with Bank’s business users in Group risk management to understand the business requirements & prepare solution data/field/table mappings & transformations needed for various Risk management project including CB UAE requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Typically, 8-10 years as Business Analyst / Techno Functional Support with at least 2 years in Risk Management domain in reputed organization; have had responsibility for numerous successful projects (delivered on time, meeting client requirements, with high team satisfaction), including some complex projects, and projects involving a number of project staff and clients. Experience in implementing finance risk applications in areas of credit, market and operational risk areas. Experience in regulatory reporting is an added advantage (Market Risk, IFR9, Early Warning, ICAAP and other Central Bank reports).

Language Requirements:

Fluency in English and Arabic.

Joining Time Frame:

2 weeks (maximum 1 month). The selected candidates shall join Nair Systems – UAE and shall be deputed to one of the leading Banks in UAE. #J-18808-Ljbffr
