Security Manager Vacancy in Ras-al-Khaimah, UAE

Position: Security Systems Engineer Income: Up to 5,000 AED plus company vehicle Location: Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates Job Type: Full-time About the Company: The hiring company is a security services business with headquarters located in the UK. Job Summary:

1. Regular Maintenance/ Planned Preventive Maintenance as scheduled by the line supervisor.
2. Examine and clean specific equipment to be maintained, i.e., Cameras, DVR/NVR, Switches, and Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDs) following the maintenance SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
3. Identify and, when approved, repair errors found during maintenance visits.
4. Installation and commissioning of high-level security system hardware.
5. Commissioning and testing of security systems.
6. Installation and commissioning of software and networking systems.
7. Report daily to the line supervisor.
8. Submit timely working reports, expenses, and vehicle mileage sheets when requested.
9. Handle the installation and commissioning of special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Must be an experienced and enthusiastic team member. (essential)
2. 5 or more years of work experience as a security system engineer or related position. (essential)
3. Good verbal and written communication skills. (essential)
4. Ability to work independently and take initiative. (essential)
5. Knowledge of security systems including antivirus applications, firewalls, authentication systems, and intrusion detection alert systems. (essential)
6. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. (essential)
7. Skilled in using a laptop for remote access to client's sites for first-line troubleshooting. (essential)
8. Proficient in AutoCAD or a related drawing program (desired).
9. Troubleshooting network and software issues (desired).
10. Valid UAE driving license (essential).
