Job Title Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Specialist Job Summary A senior leadership role responsible for spearheading high-profile transit-oriented projects and driving strategic urban development initiatives. This position serves as a subject matter expert, providing vision, leadership, and expertise in integrating land use, transportation, and sustainable development. The Principal TOD Specialist will work closely with senior leadership, policymakers, and multidisciplinary teams to influence regional growth and urban planning strategies. Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership Lead the development and execution of comprehensive TOD strategies and frameworks at regional and citywide scales. Serve as a senior advisor to government agencies, transit authorities, and private developers on TOD best practices and policy development. Identify opportunities for TOD innovations and propose solutions to complex urban challenges.
  2. Project Oversight Oversee large-scale, high-impact TOD projects from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Provide expert guidance to project teams on zoning, mixed-use development, multimodal integration, and sustainability standards. Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks while balancing competing stakeholder interests.
  3. Stakeholder and Policy Advocacy Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders including policymakers, community leaders, and private developers.
