Job Description Ivy Resource Group are currently looking to hire a Technical Support Engineer to join one our clients on a permanent basis in Gloucestershire . The Company Our client is a contractor who predominately works in the Telecommunications sector, focusing on the Military, Government, Transport, and Utility Markets. What are we looking for?
- Specialist knowledge in Optical Networks and associated hardware.
- Familiar with a range of test equipment such as optical power meters & light sources, BERT's, cellular scanners, and multi-meters.
- Familiar with Cellular RTE, Routing & Switching protocols, and network synchronization.
- Able to conduct testing and produce full comprehensive test documentation/reports.
- Experienced in fault finding.
- The ability to manage the fault ticket process from beginning to end.
- Ability to administer and run turnkey solutions.
- Experience with remote network management.
- £33,000 to £44,000 dependent on experience.
- Auto enrolment to Pension scheme after successful 6-month probation.
- 20 days Annual Leave plus 8 days Bank Holiday.
- 1-day extra Birthday Leave.
