Miryco Consultants are working with a global market-leading insurance broker to add a Data Protection Manager to their UK team. This is a great opportunity to make an impact by joining a high-performing, dynamic and collaborative team. Responsibilities:
- Support the DP function by establishing data protection controls, policies and frameworks.
- Improve the businesses' compliance with data protection and privacy laws.
- Leading and collaborating with Compliance team to improve the DP framework.
- Act as project lead on assigned projects.
- RoPAs documentation and maintenance.
- Extensive expertise of UK and EU data protection laws and ePrivacy regulations, including PECR.
- Experience working with data protection compliance in fast-paced environment.
- Financial Services experience desirable, particularly insurance.
- Data Protection qualifications preferred but not essential.
