Job Description

As a Key Account Manager – Automotive Industry (m/f/x) , you will focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships with our key clients in the automotive sector. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for cloud solutions , AI applications , and managed services , ensuring client satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for our automotive clients developing and maintaining trusted partnerships.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Understand client challenges and needs, proposing tailored solutions that combine cloud, AI, and nearshore capabilities.
  • Solution Selling: Communicate the value of Devoteam’s offerings, including cloud infrastructure, application modernization, cybersecurity, data analytics, and nearshore services.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our presence and revenue within key accounts.
  • Nearshore Expertise: Advocate for and leverage nearshore delivery models to provide cost-effective, high-quality solutions for clients.
  • Proposal Management: Develop detailed proposals and deliver presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align solutions with client requirements and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Market Insights: Monitor trends in cloud technologies, nearshore services, and the automotive industry to anticipate client needs and adapt strategies.
  • Performance Tracking: Achieve and exceed account-specific sales targets and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience: min. 5–7 years in account management or IT solution sales, with a strong focus on cloud technologies , managed services , and nearshore delivery models .
  • Industry Expertise: Knowledge of the automotive sector , specifically in working with major clients in the Stuttgart Area.
  • Nearshore Knowledge: Proven experience in selling or managing nearshore delivery services to optimize client outcomes.
  • Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as managed service concepts.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Proven ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships.
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English ; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
