Who We Are Looking For We are looking for an Associate with 3-5 years post-admission experience in litigation and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics: Between 3 to 5 years PAE; Is commercially minded; Can achieve the most cost-effective outcomes for clients; Has a talent for problem solving; Possess a high level of initiative; Experience managing files independently; Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; Attention to detail and accuracy; A can-do approach and willingness to grow in the role; Ability to manage competing priorities. The ideal candidate must have the following experience: Experience drafting documents (including pleadings, affidavits, applications, submissions, etc.); Familiar and comfortable with the conduct of litigation in the Tribunal, Magistrates Court, District Court, Supreme Court and Federal Court jurisdictions; Experience with debt recovery, commercial litigation, contract disputes, company/shareholder disputes, defamation, property disputes, building disputes, and insolvency; Other areas of litigation would also be an advantage.
