We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Health & Safety. In this role, you will have complete functional oversight of all Health & Safety activities across SDA. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure a proactive health and safety management philosophy, drive a business culture where safety and commercial decisions align, and support the organization's safety vision. How you will make contributions that matter: Drive a proactive health and safety management philosophy based on effective communication and consultations. Implement systematic identification, assessment and control of hazards and risks. Develop and deploy policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure control and effective management of health and safety processes. Implement corrective actions for incidents and accidents. Ensure policy, legal and regulatory requirements are clearly understood and consistently achieved. About you: We’re looking for someone with: Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or another relevant field. Professional certification and membership in relevant professional associations or advanced degree highly regarded. 10+ years demonstrated Health & Safety experience, including at a senior level. Experience in manufacturing or related environment. Track record of establishing strategic direction of a function and following through its realization. Demonstrated experience in project and change management. A very high level of understanding of the legal and ethical framework that governs health and safety related business practices.
