Digital Marketing Officer Exclusive opportunity for a Digital Marketing Officer to join a UK membership body on a permanent basis. Reporting into the head of Digital, the successful candidate will work as part of a wider marketing team and be primarily focused on CRM/Email and managing website content. 1 day a week in St Albans office, 4 from home Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and execute email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent CRM platform
- Develop automated marketing workflows and nurture campaigns to improve engagement and conversion rates including events
- Segment email lists and track and analyse email performance
- Regularly upload, update, and maintain website content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines
- Embed forms, surveys, and other interactive elements to enhance user engagement and data collection
- Work closely with internal teams to support the launch of new projects or initiatives
- Provide training or support to team members on email marketing tools or website updates as necessary
- Generate and interpret regular reports on digital performance metrics, covering email marketing and website activity
- Assist in ad-hoc marketing projects or campaigns
- Proven experience in email marketing and campaign automation, Salesforce CRM/ Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Umbraco
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with website content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms

- Strong understanding of GDPR and email marketing compliance standards
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for embedding and troubleshooting forms or web content is a plus
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience of maintaining large, complex websites, including approving content, making sure in-house web guidelines are followed, and generally supporting a range of content creators within the organisation
- Knowledge of modern content good practice and experience of working with colleagues to create easy to find, easy to understand content for a complex organisation’s website
