Reports To: Pharmacy Manager/Head of Department

Responsibility: "Pharmacists is responsible for healthcare, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

In a pharmaceutical company and supermarket setting, a pharmacist's responsibilities can be quite diverse."

Job Summary: "We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. In this role,

you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, dispensing medications accurately and efficiently,

and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals within our company's pharmacy located within our supermarket

in Lagos."

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

"Provide accurate and professional pharmaceutical care to customers, including medication counseling,

answering drug-related questions, and identifying potential drug interactions."

Conduct patient medication reviews and provide appropriate recommendations.

Screen prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.

Advise customers on over-the-counter medications and health products.

Accurately and efficiently dispense medications, ensuring proper labeling, dosage, and instructions.

Maintain accurate medication records and inventory.

Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Manage prescription refills and ensure timely delivery.

Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Assist in ordering and receiving pharmaceutical supplies.

Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy technicians.

Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy regulations and company policies.

Provide excellent customer service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and other healthcare professionals

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized university.

Current and valid Pharmacist license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
