In this role you can expect to:
- Lead work that provides high quality policy advice to decision-makers.
- Engage and connect with Auckland’s diverse communities.
- Navigate the political environment.
- Use your analysis and problem-solving skills to provide evidence-based solutions.
- Lead and participate in initiatives to embed Te Ao Māori into the way we do things.
- The ability to think critically and strategically.
- Effective and concise writing skills.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- The ability to effectively organise and manage work commitments to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Experience in presenting advice to elected members (desirable).
