Principal Software Engineer - React JS

At Dubizzle Labs, we are looking to further expand our Pakistan engineering office of already 400+. We are most interested in bringing on board colleagues who love to learn, perform, and teach. Your primary responsibility would be to build world-class suite products to support the hyper-growth of our businesses in 18 countries. Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
2. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
3. Contribute to all phases of the development life cycle, from concept through deployment and maintenance.
4. Develop and deploy new features, facilitating related procedures and tools as necessary.
5. Design applications according to specifications and business needs.
6. Write well-designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices.
7. Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
8. Maintain, expand, and scale our site to meet evolving business needs.
9. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to operations and activities.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

1. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
2. 6+ years of software development experience with a focus on React/Next/Vue.
3. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, JavaScript, and JQuery.
4. Experience in creating APIs for third parties and consuming third-party APIs is a plus.
5. Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and the development of web services.
6. Solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management, and best development practices.
