The IT Support Specialist provides technical support to internal staff, troubleshooting common hardware, software, security and network issues across Windows, macOS, Linux, and iOS devices. This role requires independent problem-solving and the ability to escalate more complex issues to senior team members.

As an IT Support Specialist at Smartly, you will…

  • Diagnose and resolve a wide range of IT issues, including hardware, software, and internal office networks.
  • Help keep our physical and data assets secure by following and applying our security and device policies.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in Google Workspace.
  • Assist with the deployment and maintenance of SaaS applications and mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support as needed.
  • Assist in the device lifecycle process - renewing new devices and recycling old devices.
  • Assist in the software lifecycle process - helping Smartlies get the tools they need to get things done.
  • Collaborate with suppliers that can supply our Apple devices in Apple Business Manager and other various hardware purchases.
  • Collaborate with our Workplace Office Managers to ensure our devices and office are physically secure.

We're definitely looking for you, if you...

  • Have 3 to 5 years experience in an IT support role.
  • Have familiarity with basic security and compliance policies.
  • Possess strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS).
  • Have familiarity with basic networking concepts and mobile device management (Workspace One).
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Are comfortable working with the EMEA shift and hybrid setup.
