Your new company Here at HAYS, our global biopharmaceutical client is seeking an experienced MES Engineer on a temporary 12-month basis to work on a state-of-the-art production facility based in South Dublin. The client is one of the largest grossing companies in the industry and has recently expanded operations in the area, boasting a large and diverse portfolio of products in their pipeline and has made great strides in the healthcare market to date. Your new role

  1. Performing MES recipe authoring activities to ensure appropriate MES content and changes to meet the facility goals of high product quality and lean manufacturing.
  2. Participating in the testing and computer system validation of the MES Recipes and related configuration.
  3. Actively participating in the creation of MES deliverables such as design documents and validation activities.
  4. Developing MES recipes to corporate design standards.
  5. Managing MES System administration to third party interfaces e.g., SAP/LIMS/DeltaV.
  6. Building MES System Syncade for Equipment, Material management, Reports, Inventory Management.
What you'll need to succeed
  1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or the Life Sciences.
  2. At least 5 years’ experience as an MES Engineer.
  3. Experience with MES System Design, Configuration, and Application of business processes in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  4. Experience in process controls and/or information systems within manufacturing organizations in the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industries (desired).
  5. A proficiency in communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels.
  6. Excellent organization and planning skills.
  7. Problem solving, critical thinking, and project management ability.
  8. Proven success of working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
  9. Knowledge of Visual Basic and Microsoft SQL Server (desired).
