We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to support one of our life science clients in the expansion of their distribution centre. This is an 18-month contract opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project within a global life sciences organisation offering flexible onsite requirements, ensuring a balance between in-person and remote work and a competitive daily rate, reflective of your expertise and contributions. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple workstreams and vendors in the integration and automation of an ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
- Oversee IT configuration, development, testing, and ensure the system aligns with business requirements.
- Lead sprints, manage user stories, and ensure effective Agile delivery using tools like Jira.
- Act as a key interface between stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Drive the reconfiguration and automation of IT systems within the distribution centre.
- Ensure robust project governance and alignment with the broader organisational goals.
- 7+ years of IT project management experience, with a strong background in system integration and manufacturing environments (experience within distribution is a plus).
- Proven experience in SAP EWM integration with automated systems, particularly ASRS.
- Demonstrated expertise in IT configuration, testing, and system validation.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Scrum frameworks.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-starter with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Hands-on involvement in IT system integration projects in manufacturing and distribution settings.
- Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects in the life sciences sector.
