Job Description As a Strategic Executive Leader for University Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our university. Reporting directly to the President, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing expert advice and proposing strategic recommendations to the President.
  2. Supervising staff administrative activities to ensure seamless operations.
  3. Overseeing the Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Facilities and Purchasing departments to optimize their performance.
  4. Facilitating all requirements to accomplish and secure administrative processes.
  5. Involvement in the development and implementation of academic strategic planning.
  6. Managing all finances and collections to maintain fiscal stability.
  7. Ensuring effective management of buildings and grounds, including repair, construction, and remodeling.
  8. Overseeing all purchases, including instructional materials, furniture, supplies, technology software, etc.
  9. Managing all staff salaries and benefits, including visas, housing for staff, salaries, benefits, and government personnel regulations.
  10. Involvement in personnel operations, including recruitment, contracting, termination, training, development, and induction programs for administrative staff.
  11. Maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  12. Submitting an annual report on the university's administrative and financial operations to the President.
  13. Performing other duties as assigned by the President.
Requirements To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
  1. Hold a PhD recognized by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  2. Have appropriate academic and administrative experience.
  3. Demonstrate high professional reputation and excellent communication skills.
  4. Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to create effective work relationships with staff.
  5. Be adaptable to changes and able to make systematic decision-making.
