Job Description As a Strategic Executive Leader for University Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our university. Reporting directly to the President, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice and proposing strategic recommendations to the President.
- Supervising staff administrative activities to ensure seamless operations.
- Overseeing the Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Facilities and Purchasing departments to optimize their performance.
- Facilitating all requirements to accomplish and secure administrative processes.
- Involvement in the development and implementation of academic strategic planning.
- Managing all finances and collections to maintain fiscal stability.
- Ensuring effective management of buildings and grounds, including repair, construction, and remodeling.
- Overseeing all purchases, including instructional materials, furniture, supplies, technology software, etc.
- Managing all staff salaries and benefits, including visas, housing for staff, salaries, benefits, and government personnel regulations.
- Involvement in personnel operations, including recruitment, contracting, termination, training, development, and induction programs for administrative staff.
- Maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Submitting an annual report on the university's administrative and financial operations to the President.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the President.
- Hold a PhD recognized by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- Have appropriate academic and administrative experience.
- Demonstrate high professional reputation and excellent communication skills.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to create effective work relationships with staff.
