Job ID: 2870747 | Q-Express Documents Transport - G25 To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor, to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network. Your responsibilities:
- Support the overall, daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager as needed.
- Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station.
- Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure every shipment meets and exceeds operational KPIs.
- Monitor coordinator and associate performance, providing coaching as necessary.
- Partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.
- Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and enhance quality.
- Interview candidates for associate roles.
- Brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates, ensuring accurate completion of administrative tasks.
- Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics to assist the Operations Manager in tracking and reporting site performance.
- Help with training and mentoring new Associates, ensuring they have the knowledge needed to succeed.
- Follow up on and resolve any process-related issues as required, including physical activities such as pushing carts and lifting packages.
- Be flexible to work different shifts and do overtime when needed.
- Resource the function from a personal standpoint, managing training needs, absence, performance, coaching, and productivity.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in warehouse operations - Experience in logisticsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
