About This Role
As a Digital Platform Lead at Gulf Air Group, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing our web presence, mobile apps, and various digital platform initiatives. Your extensive background in web development and content management systems, combined with exceptional management skills, will enable you to effectively coordinate with digital platform vendors.Main Responsibilities
- Platform Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of our websites, mobile applications, and other digital platforms. Ensure platforms are user-friendly, up-to-date, and align with our brand and strategic objectives.
- Web Development and CMS Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge in web development and content management systems to enhance platform functionality and user experience. Lead the technical development and deployment of new digital features and improvements. Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of services. Oversee vendor performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- User Experience (UX) Optimization: Implement best practices in UX design to create an engaging and efficient online experience for users. Collaborate with internal teams to gather user feedback and implement necessary changes.
- Digital Strategy and Innovation: Contribute to the development of our digital strategy, identifying new opportunities for digital growth and innovation. Stay abreast of the latest digital trends and technologies, recommending adaptations to current platforms as needed. Lead and mentor a team of digital professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement. Set clear goals and monitor team performance to ensure project milestones and objectives are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing digital platforms, including websites and mobile applications.
- Strong background in web development and content management systems.
- Excellent leadership and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a related field.
- Experience with SEO and web analytics.
- Proven experience in project management methodologies and tools.
