NB: This opportunity will be based in a remote location; the successful candidate will be required to relocate. Job Description It is a prerequisite that the successful candidate should be specialized within the Mechanical Discipline. Those candidates who are experts in Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation can only be considered if they also possess specialism in Mechanical. The Following Summarizes The Key Deliverables:- Re-measure of Engineering Issue for Construction drawings for CMEI as per Method of Measurements & update Bill of Quantities.
- PMS verification of SUB-CONTRACTORS progress and update with revised quantities.
- Record actual Quantities at Site & issue weekly report for Critical Quantities. Example: QS weekly report for Concrete Qty.
- Support SUB-CONTRACTORS Applications for Payment & validate progress payment as per actual progress on site.
- Identify and Raise Site Back Charges.
- Support SUB-CONTRACTORS Variations with Cost and Quantity Validations.
- Cost Estimates for Site Instructions & provide recommendation of suitable Contractor based on Quotations submitted and benchmarking rates available from Bids.
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes to AP subcontracting team.
- Work closely with AP Subcontracting Team for Claim management.
