Our client, a visionary company, is spearheading a revolutionary project to validate and assess the condition of their extensive wastewater infrastructure. This isn't just about maintaining pipes and treatment plants; it's about building a sustainable future for generations to come. As a Civil and Structural Inspector for our groundbreaking wastewater infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi, you will play a vital role in our comprehensive asset validation and condition assessment initiative. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating and enhancing the integrity of our sewerage network, sewerage treatment plants (STPs), and pump stations (PS).

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of sewerage manholes, chambers, and civil structures related to STPs and PS.
Perform detailed assessments of manholes in the wastewater network, accurately recording and reporting their condition.
Evaluate civil structures, buildings, and facilities associated with STPs, ensuring comprehensive condition documentation.
Interpret civil drawings to efficiently locate and assess manholes, pump stations, and sewerage treatment plants across various locations.
Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement consistent assessment methodologies for civil and structural assets.
Contribute to the creation of standardized protocols for seamless integration of condition data.
Provide actionable insights to inform maintenance strategies and capital planning for civil infrastructure.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements in all inspection activities.
Travel to and work at various sites across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra regions as required.

Qualifications:

BSc in Civil Engineering.
Approximately 5 years of experience in civil and structural work related to sewerage infrastructure, especially Sewerage Treatment Plants and Pumping Stations.
Proven track record in inspection of sewerage manholes, chambers, and civil structures for wastewater networks, pump stations, and treatment plants.
Demonstrated ability to assess and accurately record the condition of manholes, civil structures, buildings, and facilities in sewerage systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil/structural drawings for sewerage infrastructure.
Willingness to travel and work at various sites across the region.
