Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and policies for construction and landscape projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to establish quality benchmarks and objectives.
  • Review project plans and specifications to identify potential quality issues.
  • Implement and manage a comprehensive quality control program.
  • Perform on-site inspections to monitor workmanship and materials used in construction and landscape activities.
  • Conduct tests and analyses of construction materials to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Document and report deviations from project specifications and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed records of all QA/QC activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions taken.
  • Generate regular reports on the status of quality assurance and control activities for project management.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders regarding quality issues and resolutions.
  • Foster a culture of quality consciousness and awareness among project personnel.
  • Conduct regular workshops and meetings to address quality-related concerns and share lessons learned.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in construction and landscape activities.
  • Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions to enhance overall project quality.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure the continuous improvement of the QA/QC program.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure that quality requirements are integrated into project plans.
  • Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the quality of materials and workmanship.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide input on quality-related matters.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • Must be detail-oriented and technically sound with good communication skills.
  • Landscaping Industry Experience.
