Role Overview As a Graduate Highways Engineer at AECOM, you will be a key member of our Highways team working on impactful road design projects and gaining exposure to essential design software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in preparing scope of works documents and project design criteria.
• Gain experience in road design including plans, profiles, typical sections, cross sections, and signage.
• Utilize PowerPoint to create presentations and progress reports.
• Demonstrate strong communication and technical report writing skills.
• Develop proficiency in road design software.
• Familiarity with engineering standards, codes of practice, and local authority guidelines is advantageous.

• Education: Candidates must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Academic Status: Applicants should be on track to graduate in 2025 or 2026. Recent graduates (2023/2024) seeking short-term work placement for professional experience may also be considered.
• Start Date: Jan 2025
• Duration: 13 months depending on individual preferences and project requirements (can be extended if required).
• Eligibility: As part of AECOM's commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labor law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
