Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for financial reporting and tax reporting matters. Job Duties
- Oversee finance operations, including managing the month-end closing process, budgeting, and ensuring the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports.
- Manage tax reporting matters, including tax computations and relevant tax compliance reporting for group companies to the tax bureau.
- Lead the analysis of financial data, providing insightful commentaries and facilitating the year-end audit process.
- Collaborate with external advisors and coordinate with internal business partners to ensure corporate tax compliance, including the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and BEPS reporting for the Group.
- Conduct tax research, stay updated on changes in international and domestic tax laws, and evaluate their impact on group companies.
- Act as a business partner, working closely with departments in the headquarters and various business units.
- Handle other ad-hoc assignments and projects as requested.
- A Degree in Accounting or Finance or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Audit and Tax, preferably from Big 4 or 2nd tier audit firm
- Qualified member of HKICPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional body
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Solid knowledge of Hong Kong accounting and tax rules, as well as international tax regulations, coupled with a strong business acumen.
- Good English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
