Security Engineer Duties and Responsibilities: Security Designers are the initial line of defense against harmful threats in the IT industry. They evaluate their company's essential IT facilities for weak points and create durable countermeasures to stop future incidents. Security Designers also educate staff members on security best practices and advise management on investments to protect the company's computer and network systems. Here are examples of Security Designer duties:

1. Create, perform, and track the performance of protection measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.
2. Design computer security strategy and develop comprehensive cybersecurity architecture.
3. Determine, specify, and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management.
4. Install, repair, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
5. Install software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions.
6. Monitor systems for irregular behavior and set up security measures.
7. Plan, develop, execute, and update the company's information security strategy.
8. Educate and train staff on information system security best practices.
