Our client, a well-known regional brand in the home and personal care industry is seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team in the UAE. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in both direct and indirect procurement who has successfully managed and delivered mid-scale procurement projects . The ideal candidate will be digitally savvy , proactive, and passionate about driving initiatives that add value and enhance procurement processes. The Role: As the Procurement Manager, you will oversee both direct and indirect procurement, playing a critical role in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management. This is a hands-on managerial role where you will drive key projects and initiatives to streamline processes and maximise cost efficiencies. Your ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders will be key to success.

  1. Lead procurement activities for direct and indirect categories, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating favorable contracts.
  3. Drive procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives and improve operational efficiencies.
  4. Develop and manage procurement processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  5. Monitor and analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  6. Manage procurement budgets and work closely with finance to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
  7. Lead procurement projects from planning to execution, delivering results on time and within budget.
  8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, introducing new procurement techniques and technologies to drive innovation.
The Ideal Candidate:
  1. A seasoned professional with over 5 years of experience in both direct and indirect procurement.
  2. Proven track record of successfully leading procurement projects and initiatives from start to finish.
  3. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with key suppliers.
  4. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to change.
  5. A strategic thinker who is proactive in identifying opportunities and solutions.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to influence and align stakeholders.
  7. A results-driven individual who consistently delivers on KPIs while maintaining a focus on quality.
