60655 | Underwriting | Professional | Allianz Partners | Full-Time | Permanent The Underwriting Analyst will provide strategic, commercial, and financial advice by evaluating and managing financial risks associated with policies. The incumbent will be responsible to analyze statistical data and provide pricing, coaching, and training to our clients in line with our underwriting guidelines. What you do:
- Analyzes statistical data to determine probability of risks or financial impact.
- Ascertain premium rates required and cash reserves and liabilities necessary to ensure payment of future benefits.
- Collaborates with programmers, underwriters, accounts, claims experts, and senior management to help insurance companies develop plans for new health line of business or improving existing health business.
- Designs, reviews, and helps administer insurance policies, determining financial soundness and calculating premiums.
- Determines policy contract provisions for health insurance.
- Develops systems to ensure compliance with the requirements of regulatory bodies.
- Assists in the development of new health products.
- Assures continuous technical profitability to risk carriers (insurance & reinsurance companies).
- Provides continuous and effective visibility to risk carriers on their portfolio status.
- Conducts pricing review, analysis, and development.
- Provides early warnings and issue recommendations on corrective measures.
- Assures high retention of clients.
- Constructs probability tables based on statistical data analysis and other pertinent information.
- Provides expertise to management, manage risks, and maximize returns.
- Measures, monitors, and mitigates portfolio and enterprise risks.
- Oversees asset and liability modeling, product development, and profit testing.
- Bachelor’s Degree; any financial background is required. Certificate in Actuarial Science is a plus.
- At least 5 years of work experience in data analysis, pricing, and client management; Insurance industry is a plus.
- Proven extensive experience in creating and delivering professional and effective presentation and report-writing skills.
- Excellent English communication skills are key for this role. Arabic skill is a plus.

- Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.
- Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills.
- Physically fit to carry out duties.
