Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities include post-contract administration and commercial management, with key tasks as follows:

• Review and process consultant and contractor variations per contract terms.
• Manage consultant and contractor variations in line with the client's Change Management procedures.
• Verify insurance and bank guarantees (bonds) meet contractual requirements.
• Assess and process claims for extension of time (EOT) and prolongation costs.
• Conduct payment valuations and prepare payment certificates.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow statements, and accruals.
• Finalize accounts, issue final payment certificates, and arrange for bank guarantee releases.

• Strong understanding of construction principles.
• Experience in contract preparation based on the FIDIC suite of contracts is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years experience with a consultant, developer, or a combination of both (UAE experience preferred).
• Expertise in residential and building projects as well as contract and commercial management.
