This role is a (temporary) PR Manager role reporting to the Director of Business Development. Your responsibility will be predominantly leading the public relations activities and working closely with the agency. You will focus on business and commercial strategy for the brand. Key responsibilities/actions are as follows:

Develop and implement annual Public Relations plan to include:
Prepare and submit weekly reports
Develop and manage media database
Organize one-on-one interviews/round-table meetings for key regional executives
Monitor media, coverage reports, coordinate media visits, and events
Prepare and manage press conferences
Arrange and manage print, broadcast and online interviews
Prepare media kits, develop and maintain company internet/intranet web pages
Manage and maintain media library
Positively build, enhance and increase brand recognition
Handle internal communications to HODs/team members of news that may affect the business performance
Should a crisis or issue arise, manage internal and external communications

Minimum Requirements:

Available for a temporary role. Must already have UAE VISA.
5+ years of experience in the Communications, Marketing and/or PR (preferred).
Independent with strong communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to build and manage relationships.
Be a leader with excellent time management skills, ability to make sound decisions and have creative ideas.
A strategic thinker who understands business and commercial objectives.
Values the PR and marketing role to build a brand/business.
