Core Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve or exceed agreed core product sales targets to build a new customer base for FAB.
  2. Promote the sales of Core Product in the assigned area.
  3. Build and maintain effective business relationships with customers.
  4. Assist in conducting promotional activities, meetings, and roadshows in the assigned area to achieve budgeted sales volumes.
  5. Ensure submitted customer applications and documentation are complete and error-free.
  6. Follow up on document discrepancies approved as deferrals.
  7. Minimize errors and act upon them for correction and resubmission if necessary.
  8. Provide sales MIS to line manager/Area Head on a regular basis.
  9. Provide ongoing customer/market feedback to line manager/Area Head to improve business.
  10. Provide Sales DSR to Sales Manager on a regular basis.
  11. Ensure a high level of customer service while handling business proceedings.
  12. Adhere to the code of conduct & ethics while performing required duties, especially during the authentication of KYC documents.
  13. Capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.
  14. Perform duties of Team Leader in their absence if assigned.
  15. Recommend customer applications considered good credit risks as per FAB policy.
  16. Require good convincing and negotiating skills due to the complexity of the relevant product.
  17. Be aware of competition and suggest changes for product improvements.
  18. Maintain effective business relationships with all branches and internal departments.
  19. Ensure routine problems and complaints are handled professionally, with only minimal significant issues escalated to Team Leader.
  20. Be vigilant in identifying fraudulent activities/unethical incidents while handling business requirements; any concerns should be addressed to the Line Manager immediately.
  21. Avoid arguing with customers and do not make commitments to any customer.
  22. Maintain effective relationships with teammates and supervisors.
  23. Ensure that the product information shared with customers is accurate.
  24. Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, and Service Standards of the bank.
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or preferably a university degree.
  2. Desirable to have a sales diploma or certification.
  3. 1 to 2 years of experience in selling banking products in a financial company.
